[ Mami had been in her room, mostly, ever since the experiment ended. Once she heard news about the mailboxes, she decided to check them out, not really expecting anything.
However, once she finds the bear and the note, her face seems to brighten up and there's a smile on her face. The bear that Kyoko won for her was back in her hands. Oh gosh, she could cry right now!
She'll have to thank Kyoko later, after she puts the bear in her room and reminisce a bit. ]
[The next time Mami looked in her mailbox, she would find a small box. Inside the box are a few chocolates and a note.]

Happy Valentines Day! Hopefully you're feeling alright. I know we haven't talked much, but hopefully we can be friends. If you ever need my help with anything, let me know, alright?
Diarmuid told me you were baking cakes. Hopefully that'll go well! Good luck!
[If Mami checks her mailbox on Valentine's Day, she'll find a small box waiting for her containing an assortment of chocolates and truffles waiting for her. The candies are fairly well made, albeit the shapes make it obvious that they were made by hand. There's a small, simple card affixed to it (but really, who would expect anything more from her?)]
These are just obligation chocolates--or whatever the Hell they call them. I made too much, so I thought I might as well give 'em to somebody else.
'Course, they're probably still not as good as anything you could make. Not yet, anyway.
[Several dots appear on the card at this point. Probably, she hadn't thought of what to write before starting--or perhaps she was just deliberating on whether or not to add something.]
Well, whatever. This works, 'cause there's something we need to discuss, y'know. Let me know when you've got time, 'k? Not like we gotta worry about missing each other or whatever.
[A perfect replica of the car Mami's family died in, down to the bodies in the seats. There's even a little Mami, reaching for something at the window that no one else can see.]
